Street corner watching-Atomic bomb dome

Hello.
This is the second virtual video 24.
Last time, we introduced the program.
From this time, I will introduce various videos.
Toku-san.
Thanking you in advance.
Yes.
Sakura.
Where is this street corner watching?
Yes. It’s Sakura.
Today I’m coming to Hiroshima by express bus.
It is the state of Motomachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima city at 9 o’clock in the morning.
Nearby is the Atomic Bomb Dome, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
A nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima here at 8:15 am on August 6, 1945.
This is the back side of the “Atomic Bomb Dome”.
It is a fountain located between the mobilization student memorial tower.
It is the “Atomic Bomb Dome” from Motoyasu Bridge.
I’m in the Peace Memorial Park.
I just saw the “Light of Peace” and the “Atomic Bomb Dome” from the “Atomic Bomb Victims Memorial”.
The “light of peace” will continue to burn until the world is free of nuclear weapons.
The pedestal has the shape of an open palm toward the sky.
Japan, the only country that has been bombed, is a place that cannot be forgotten forever.
Please come and visit us.
Thank you Sakura.
The street corner watching this time was an introduction to the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Dome.
Kaze, do you know that Hiroshima City has another World Heritage Site besides the Atomic Bomb Dome?
Yes.

It is Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine of Aki.
That’s right.
There is a prefectural rivalry Men’s Ekiden held every January in Hiroshima City. The course connects two world heritage sites.

Next time, I would like to introduce the Adachi Museum in Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture.
