The street corner watching -Shizuoka Sengen Shrine-

This time’s street corner watching is “Shizuoka Sengen Shrine”.

The visit date is October 9, 2021.
I came to Shizuoka Sengen Shrine, which was introduced at the tourist information center at JR Shizuoka Station.
I boarded a bus from Shizuoka Station and found that there were more people than I expected, as it was a Saturday, sunny, and the state of emergency had ended.
There are seven shrines in this area: Kanbe Shrine, Sengen Shrine, Otoshigoso Shrine, Rokuyama Shrine, Yazenge Shrine, Sukahikona Shrine, and Tamahoko Shrine.
I think it’s rare that shrines of this size are gathered together nationwide.
It was impressive to see the shrine maiden busily walking around the shrine grounds with her luggage in hand.
I saw many families who seemed to be celebrating Shichi-Go-San.
However, considering that it was Kannazuki, I thought that Yaoyorozu no Kami had gone to Izumo Taisha Shrine and that no Kami was present at the moment.
Is there any benefit?
Next, we walked to Sunpu Castle Park.
Pass through the large torii gate and enter the long shopping street with arcades on both sides.
However, I don’t know if it’s before or after the coronavirus, but the shutters of many restaurants are closed.
There weren’t many people around, so I felt a little lonely.
This concludes our introduction to Shizuoka Sengen Shrine.
